HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Sets the Stage for Expand North Star 2023

The world’s largest startup show is showing a heart-warming welcome to more than 1,800 startups originating from more than 100 countries, 1,000 investors managing 1 trillion US dollars, and more than 500 expert speakers.

The event aims to bring up Dubai’s position as a global digital hub that connects venture capital with unicorns, startups, and scale-ups, which has captured the eyes of the huge global tech community from all over the world.

Today, on October 15, 2023, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, known for his positions as the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance of the UAE, has opened Expand North Star 2023 in Dubai, UAE. This is the world’s largest and most significant start-up show in Dubai Harbour venue, representing Dubai’s commitment to innovation.

Expand North Star 2023 is taking place from 15 to 18 October 2023. The event is hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and organized by the Dubai World Trade Center which is a testament to Dubai’s success. Expand North Start 2023 is providing an impressive array of 1,800 startups belonging to 100 countries an opportunity to not only connect with global peers but also fundraise and share their experiences with them. Moreover, 1,000 investors that have a combined total of US $1 trillion under management have joined hands to offer a fertile ground for investments.

Expand North Start 2023 is a startup show of GITEX GLOBAL. GITEX GLOBAL is the world’s largest tech gathering that will be experienced tomorrow, i.e. October 16, 2023, by some of the most impressive mindsets from around the world. It will take place at the state-of-the-art Dubai World Trade Center. The venue has a combined 2.7 million sp. ft of space for exhibition, which is 40% more than last year. The event is here to welcome all the masterminds who know and have worked with AI, the cloud, Web 3.0, and how to function with a sustainable digital economy.

One of the event’s biggest highlights is Expand North Start’s AI Monday, which will showcase a number of fast-growing AI startups. These include India Central, Asia Fast 100, and Africa Fast 100.
